Western Caribbean
Wow! Pam and I have just returned from a trip to the Caribbean and we had a fantastic time. Amy and Andrew insisted that they spend the week at Peterhead (thanks to Ann and Peter for persuading Amy and Andrew to do that!) while Pam and I jetted off across to the US. First of all we spent a couple of days in Houston. It was typically American, obsessed with cars and oil. We didn't have long there, but just long enough for Pam to shop so much that we had to buy another suitcase to get it all home. We are all enjoying our cowboy boots.
Two days later we boarded the Carnival Conquest from Galveston headed for the Western Caribbean. A week of fantastic weather, great food and wonderful ports of call. We called at Jamaica, Grand Cayman and Mexico. Each port was very different, interesting and so hot!
We are home now, and it is 35 degrees Celcius colder and we have lost 3 hours of daylight. Never mind, we could always go looking for it again next year.... I hope that you enjoy looking at the photos.
